There was Bill Ayers, Minister Jeremiah Wright Jr., Common and Jill Scott to name a few. It's ok that you don't agree with a person on different things and ideas but that doesn't mean you have to get hateful. Some disagreement is healthy. Especially when you always keep an open mind. When your opponent does something good then you should be able to tell them, "good job".
There will always be a rift as long as we keep tossing the hate around so easily.
